Critique

     This is called "The Joker Artwork" by TERbrain in 2015. This artwork is like a mixture of typography and abstract. As you can see the main focus is the Joker from Batman, hints the title "The Joker Artwork." The artwork also has 4 different colors red, black, green, and white. The artist would uses words to shape the head of the joker and the background. Then add splashes of red, black, and white.
     There are no similarities in the elements of color, shape, or direction, since it is abstract. There is one thing with the use of the color red. The way the splashes in the back are red makes The Joker's lips pop. Also the green in his hair stands out because of the red splashes.
     The meaning of this artwork is to just depict the evilness of The Joker. The use of red means harm and chaos and the way his eyes are blacked out makes him even scarier. The crack in the picture by The Joker's face gives the artwork a more darker tone.
     This artwork overall is really good. My only complaint would be to make the words a little more readable. The Joker one of my favorite villains because he is smart and has many tricks up his sleeve to take down Batman and the colors are a depiction of this. The words that you can see in the picture all represent The Joker.
